They charge for everything from a call to check balance too talking to a rep. I noticed that there was a comment left be a so called "Customer Service Rep" the info you give it out is general info from most customer service area's. Someone also needs to learn 2nd grade spelling. Also for senior's--DO NOT take the chance of direct deposti of you benefit checks to this company. Use a card just for benefit checks. Direct Express. There is no charge to use. This card is for withdrawel's only but a lot safer than this company.

This card has a fee for everything. There is a 9.95 activation fee, it charges you to pay your bills. It charges you to make a purchase. I personally dont like having to pay to shop.

This is very good card and I have never had a problem with them, customer service has always helped me,and the 25.00 credit comes at the end of the secound month. It is a very good card. Have a great day all in costomer service.

Do not get this card. My card was charged 4 transactions from the UK for a total of 150.00 dollars and they told me that was not a reason to flag my card or alert me because the amount was not big enough. They said they cannot stop the transaction and that it takes 45 days to get my money back. The mgr Maura was rude and did not want to cancel the card and waive the 10.00 fee for a replacement card. They also chg 95 cents for you to call their customer line for questions, concerns, chk your bal. They are a horrible company. I had to close my account right away and they offered me nothing for my problems. I had to e-mail them like 5-8 times just to get the 25.00 sign up bonus. I do not recommend them to anyone!!!!! Stay away, protect yourself and your money!! Run!!!

I have to say that I do like the card, but I am not able to have direct deposit, and every time I need to put money on the card, I have to pay $3.95. It makes me have to think ahead if I have any up coming bills to be paid, I try and put more than I need to on the card, knowing its going to cost me almost $4 each time. I closed my checking account because of a fraudulent electronic check that was processed and caused my account to be and stay in the negative. I guess the small amount I have to pay to load the card, is a lot better than all the fees the bank was taking out of my account.
I would definitely recommend this card to a friend.

I am a customer service rep for mpower and we are available m-f 7am-7pm central if you call when we are open you will get service we even have holiday hours til 9pm we do everything we can to help everyone but when you are not folling the terms and service conditions the you will have a problem. I have had several bogus charges that I didn't make. When I finally got hold of customer service they told me I have to prove I didn't make the charges! That's BULL! & HOW DO I DO THAT EXACTLY! I do however like how my charges go right to my phone! I do plan to switch after the first of the year.

No live customer service representative is ever avaiable and my balance does not add up with my transaction, Mpower charges you 1.00 for every transctions and I fell like that too much along with a 9.00 monthly fee.

Before I applied for the mPower prepaid card, I compared this card with other prepaid cards on the market, the fees they charge are actually quite common in the prepaid card industry. The monthly fee is waived if you do direct deposit. Overall, I'm very happy with this card.
